In Stewart Investors' view, this is a more encompassing concept than ESG because it considers the utility and purpose of a company’s product or services rather than just detailing the externalities of its operations from one quarter to the next.

Some highlights for them over the year include the momentum that built in the company's collaborative engagement on conflict minerals in the semiconductor supply chain, and in their partnership with the Waste and Resources Action Programme to tackle plastic waste in India.
