... A proposal to ban petrol and diesel cars in Europe from 2035 onwards was one of the first proposals from the EU’s blockbuster Green Deal package. But Germany is pushing back. There is, however, a political agreement on the EU Green Bond Standard, which would create a voluntary label for green bonds, with use of proceeds pegged to the EU Taxonomy. Elsewhere, Invesco preview the EU’s agenda for the rest of 2023 and look at what the US Securities and Exchange Commission will do on three big rules.
