AllianceBernstein learned that 45% of the companies with which they engaged already had ESG related metrics embedded in their executive compensation plans, despite not being recognised by third party data providers and that 44% of the companies with which they engaged had metrics in place; most companies that did not have metrics or appropriate metrics agreed to improve or adopt them.
