SFG classifies companies by the level of contribution to each solution - direct, enabling/supporting, indirect, and “no drawdown”.

Examples of direct contributions include manufacturing wind turbines or educating female farmers, enabling/supporting contributions include manufacturers of semiconductors for electric vehicles while indirect contributions include firms providing IT consulting for electric utilities or internet security.
