... Covid-19 has put emerging and developing countries’ vulnerabilities under a spotlight once again. The pandemic has forced countries to deal simultaneously with a health, an economic and a humanitarian crisis. Unlike past crises, when support from the international community was decisive, the global environment is now less constructive. Investment Strategist Maritza Cabezas Ludena: "If the pandemic makes one thing clear, it is our interdependency – for our health systems, our food systems, our entire economy. Now is the time to work together to emerge from this crisis, with a more resilient and inclusive economy that is in balance with our environment."
