Paul Hewitt, Responsible Investment Manager, London Pension Fund Authority
Paul Hewitt joined the LPFA in October 2022. He is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of the LPFA's approach to responsible investment, including its net-zero commitments. With twenty years of experience in the responsible investment industry, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.
Before joining the LPFA, Paul spent 14 years at Minerva, working with institutional investors, including a portfolio of LGPS clients, on various stewardship-related solutions. His work at Minerva included proxy voting, monitoring manager voting, developing responsible investment policies, engaging with companies, and producing stewardship reports.
Paul also worked for four years at Vigeo Eiris (later Moody’s ESG), where he provided ESG integration-related solutions to investors. Additionally, he has served as Vice-Chair of the Pension Advisory Board at the Essex Pension Fund and was a member of the Pensions Climate Risk Industry Group, which was tasked with drafting guidance for the private pensions industry in the UK to meet Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) reporting regulations - a framework that requires investors to report on how they identify, assess and manage climate-related risks.
Michael Schlup, Chief Sustainability Officer, Member of the Investment Committee, Sail Investments
Michael Schlup is the Chief Sustainability Officer of SAIL Investments, and a member of SAIL’s investment committee. He is a sustainability professional with over 25 years of experience, having previously worked for Barry Callebaut, the world’s leading manufacturer of chocolate and cocoa products including managing the Cocoa Horizons Foundation. As global agribusiness and food company Bunge, he oversaw Africa for their asset management and environmental markets team. He was the founding CEO of the Gold Standard Foundation, an NGO that established quantification and impact maximisation standards. Michael’s career began by advancing sustainable energy financing at the United Nations and working as a management consultant. Michael is a trained scientist and holds a M.Sc. in Geography from the University of Basel, Switzerland, and a M.Sc. in Industrial Environmental Economics from Lund University, Sweden.
Natalia Pasishnyk, Sustainability Director, SAIL Investments
Natalia Pasishnyk is the Sustainability Director at SAIL Investments with 18 years of sustainability experience. She has worked in Brazil as a consultant, supporting major corporations across a wide range of sectors including agriculture, forestry, mining, renewable energy, finance, and governmental bodies build responsible low carbon strategies and supply chains. Her sustainability focus began with climate mitigation projects in the Brazilian Amazon. Natalia, a trained scientist, earned her M.Sc. in Sustainable Forestry from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
Kirsty Wilman, COO, Rebalance Earth
Kirsty Wilman is a Chartered Accountant with over 22 years of operational and financial leadership. She served as COO of Real Estate at Federated Hermes, leading functions across private markets. Kirsty ensures Rebalance Earth’s platform is robust, scalable, and investor-ready.
Leah Worrall, Deputy Head of Sustainable Investment Insight, Isio.
Leah Worrall is the Deputy Head of Sustainable Investment Insight at Isio. She leads on sustainability IP, from sustainability-related research papers (e.g. on best-in-class sustainable investment implementation in portfolios) to technology solutions for clients (e.g. ESG data models). She has led on sustainable investment advice for a number ofIsio’s largest clients, including large DB schemes and Master Trusts (e.g. on TCFD matters), as well as on bespoke sustainable research projects for clients (e.g. divestment versus engagement, or climate modelling limitations). She also works with the Isio Private Capital Team on sustainability for charities, endowments and family offices. Prior to working with long-term investors, including pension schemes and charities, at Isio and previously Mercer, Leah worked on sustainability issues with governments and international banks.

Richard Giles is an experienced pension professional as a trustee and adviser. He has a portfolio of roles at Board and senior executive level reflecting his interests in education and investing for a better planet. His roles in pensions include Chair of Investment Committee for the £2.5bn United Utilities Pension Scheme, Board member for ESPS (UU Section) and Senior Director for Pensions for Purpose.
In addition, Richard is Vice Chair for a multi-academy trust of 20 schools in Bradford, and is a board member at Bambisanani, a charity using sport to build bridges between students in the UK and South Africa.His previous roles include as Managing Director of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, Partner at PwC and Scheme Actuary at Mercer.
David Brown, Senior Director & Training Lead, Pensions for Purpose
David Brown has worked in the pension and financial services industry for over 35 years and has both UK and international experience. As well as being Senior Director & Training Lead at Pensions for Purpose, David is an accredited professional pension trustee.
David has broad investment, risk management and operational experience across both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes with a particular interest in environment, social and governance (ESG), and climate change. He holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing as well as being a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute.
