Investors have long debated the benefits of active versus passive management in emerging markets (EMs), not least when it comes to adding value through a sustainable investment approach. However, concerns about the quality and trustworthiness of the data have continued to hinder the asset class. Following an 18-month research project into corporate environmental data in EMs, Osmosis have concluded the data landscape has significantly changed.
To undertake their extensive analysis, the firm hired a dedicated team of analysts to collect, extrapolate, clean and standardise publicly available carbon, water and waste data on a sector-by-sector basis across the whole economy.
In conjunction with Pensions for Purpose, Osmosis invites you to join this online roundtable event, where the team will elaborate on their findings and consider the wider implications for EM passive investing.
