Climate scenario analysis is a crucial way to manage your investments. Recently, however, the pitfalls of using data-driven quantitative climate models have begun to show, leading many investors to look for a more robust way to carry out their analysis.

During this workshop, Cardano discussed the merits of integrating proprietary research and ‘qualitative’ scenario analysis. They explained how this can be achieved, shared their experience of integrating it into their strategies and guided participants through a practical example.

Cardano also covered systemic risks, including climate change and biodiversity loss, looking at how this type of analysis can help you make more informed decisions about portfolio strategy and manager selection, as well as where time and effort can be most effectively focused.

Who should attend?

This event was open to asset owners such as pension funds, professional trustees, independent advisers, consultants and government representatives.
