Arif Saad, Head of Client Advice & Head of People, UK at Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management (VLK)
Arif is responsible for leading VLK to deliver their investment proposition to clients. This includes designing, developing and advising on strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies for UK clients.
Before joining VLK in 2020, Arif was a Fiduciary Manager at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), and one of the architects of their fiduciary management offering. Prior to this, hewas head of the Strategic Client Relationship Executive team at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), focusing on risk management and derivative strategies. Arif began his career in Mercer’s UK investment consulting business, where he advised a portfolio of DB and DC pension schemes, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds on the full spectrum of investment issues.
Arif graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder and, in 2021, Financial News named him a Rising Star in Asset Management.
Tatiana von Petersdorff, ESG/Sustainability Manager, EY
Tatiana leads EY's actuarial and pensions ESG proposition, which delivers sustainability and ESG support to a variety of pensions stakeholders. Her role also includes conducting research into the ESG practices of UK pension providers, which is shared in regular publicly available publications.
Prior to joining EY, Tatiana worked at Cardano Risk Management in the manager research team, where she researched a variety of different asset classes for pension scheme investment portfolios and developing frameworks for assessing asset managers on ESG. She also has experience as an investment consultant, providing investment strategy and risk management advice to UK defined benefit pension schemes.
Tegs Harding, Head of Sustainability, Independent Governance Group
Tegs is an established professional trustee and Head of Sustainability at Independent Governance Group. She brings extensive experience in overseeing pension schemes across various sectors, encompassing DC master trusts, direct benefit (DB) and hybrid schemes. As a qualified actuary, her expertise extends to profound insights into pension finance, risk management and regulatory landscapes.
