This exclusive event featured a roundtable discussion focused on the crucial aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) within the investment landscape.

The speakers were:

  • Karen Shackleton, Founder & Director, Pensions for Purpose.
  • Bruna Bauer, Research Manager, Pensions for Purpose.
  • Abbie Llewellyn-Waters, Investment Manager, Global Sustainable Equity, Jupiter Asset Management.
  • Daniel Jarman, Stewardship Manager, Pension Protection Fund.
  • Fiona Smith, IPM, Smart Pension.
  • Jaid Longmore, Responsible Investment Consultant, Hymans Robertson.
  • Michelle Darracott, Trustee Executive, BESTrustees.
  • Nicola Brown, Responsible Investment Manager London CIV.
  • T Clark, Director of Private Markets, Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation.

This session delved into the findings of our latest Impact Lens research, which considers pivotal DE&I themes on investment beliefs, workplace strategies and policies at asset owners and third parties, including investment consultants. We examined the intricacies of underlying investment-decision-making by examining manager recruitment and stock selection criteria. It gave a unique opportunity to share perspectives and engage in meaningful dialogue with industry experts and peers. We believe by collectively exploring DE&I in investment, we can drive positive change and foster more inclusive practices in our sector.
