The recent UK Long-Term Asset Fund (LTAF) legislation has been designed to improve access to illiquid investments for UK defined contribution (DC) pension savers.

In this session, hosted by Charlotte O'Leary from Pensions for Purpose, Fulcrum Asset Management outlined how this new regulation can help to provide innovative and diversified access to illiquid assets that have, until now, largely been in the domain of other institutional investors.

The discussion included examples of how responsible investment can be integrated through all aspects of an LTAF portfolio, with a particular focus on deploying new capital to improve or develop new assets that meet sustainability goals.

Who was this event for?

This event was opened to asset owners such as pension fund trustees, in-house executives and independent advisers, professional trustees, government representatives and consultants with a specialist focus on defined contribution pension schemes.
