This asset owner event was a fireside chat hosted by Martin Pattinson, with questions from our Global Impact Forum sponsor Tikehau Capital to Jill Davys, Head of LGPS at Redington.
They explored climate actions, the energy transition and decarbonisation initiatives across the wider LGPS sector – including from the London Borough of Sutton Pension Fund’s own experience – including net zero commitments, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) reporting requirements, and how LGPS pools and partner funds have responded to the climate emergency challenges from an environmental and biodiversity perspective.
What strategic approach does the LGPS have to embed climate solutions and impact investment in their broader portfolios, and in private markets allocations specifically?
Asset owners had the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a peer-to-peer discussion following the fireside chat.
