Pensions for Purpose and Schroders were delighted to launch part two of our impact investing training session. The session provided a deeper dive into impact, which included discussing some of the following questions:

  • How does impact fit within universal ownership?
  • What is the investment industry doing for impact?
  • What are the main impact metrics and disclosure regulations?
  • What is the state of biodiversity and how can we invest in natural capital?
  • What are the key points to consider for implementing net zero and place based investing?

This training event provided an in depth knowledge, including case studies, to empower asset owners (trustees and pension committee members) to collaborate with their asset managers and investment consultants to consider or add new impact investing opportunities to their funds. It will consider a holistic approach to impact covering: natural capital, climate change and social impact and examples of impact alignment, measurement and disclosures.
