This event was an opportunity to hear about the TPI’s work and to network with pension funds, advisers, asset managers to share ideas and experiences on how to meet the challenges of climate change.

Agenda

The agenda for this interactive discussion via Zoom included:

  • Welcome from Pensions for Purpose and housekeeping
  • Keynote presentation from the Transition Pathway Initiative
  • Questions
  • Mixed breakout rooms to discuss:
    • How can pension funds assess whether their holdings align with the pathways set by the Paris Agreement? What are the challenges of doing this?
    • What are the pros and cons of the different approaches that pension funds are using to move towards net zero?
    • What hurdles do you anticipate being faced by the pension fund(s) with whom you are involved, as these funds try to roll out Paris-Aligned investment strategies?

Each breakout room had a table moderator and clerk from our sponsors, Invesco and Redington, and they shared key insights in the main meeting at the end.
