... Karen Shackleton, founder of Pensions for Purpose will present her five-step climate action plan for pension funds looking to move to a sustainable investment approach. Pensions for Purpose has worked with a number of pension funds on their climate action strategy and Karen will discuss some of the challenges and barriers, and ways in which these may be overcome.

Karen will be joined by Richard Butcher, Chair of the PLSA. The PLSA have recently published a research paper “A changing climate - How pension funds can invest for the future”. Richard will present some of the key recommendations from this report.

These short presentations will be followed by a moderated roundtable discussion which we expect to be lively and informative.
