The private market landscape is quite different from public markets. Here the investment manager has far greater control over the direction the underlying assets take. Matt Tickle discussed different types of private market assets and their ESG / climate risk credentials. They also introduced carbon offsetting assets that trustees can use to reduce their carbon footprint and discuss how these can be accessed.
