The successful candidate will have the vision and galvanising ability to bring the outline business plan to life to set up and establish the new Institute. Their communication and partnership-building skills will bring people together from across sectors and jurisdictions to provide a focal point for the UK impact investing market at home and around the world.
The Institute brings together the energy and work of the UK National Advisory Board on Impact Investing (UK NAB) and the Implementation Taskforce on Growing a Culture of Social Impact Investing in the UK (Implementation Taskforce). It is led by their chairs, Sir Harvey McGrath (former chairman of Man Group and chair of Big Society Capital) and Elizabeth Corley (former chief executive and vice-chair at Allianz Global Investors). The Institute will formally launch in the Autumn.
