In August 2018 Pictet spearheaded an initiative calling on index providers to exclude controversial weapons manufacturers from global indices.

This initiative was initially addressed to the Swiss investment community and an Open Letter to Index Providers drafted with the support of Swiss Sustainable Finance (SSF) received the backing of more than 60 asset owners and asset managers with an asset base of over $2 trillion.

Given its wide success, this initiative is now open to international investors under the co-ordination of Swiss Sustainable Finance.

Should your organisation share the views expressed in the letter you can simply fill in this form with the name of your organisation as you would like it to appear on the letter.  In the form you can also indicate if you are willing to play an active role in subsequent interactions with index providers.

Should you have any questions or queries, please feel free to contact Kelly Hess [email protected] (Phone: +41 44 515 60 53) from Swiss Sustainable Finance. The call for signatories has been extended to 31st January 2019, after which SFF will advise on further steps.
