At Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), Stuart is responsible for the DC channel that manages third party DC client relationships across master trusts, platforms and providers. He also has overall responsibility to manage the relationship with both the Legal & General Mastertrust Board and Independent Governance Committee (IGC), and he is a scheme strategist for the Legal & General Mastertrust.  

Stuart initiated the work at LGIM that led to the creation of the L&G Equalities Taskforce. The objective he set at the outset was to rise up together and take action, not just talk about the Gender Pensions Gap. With a 23 year old daughter that has just started her career, he is driven by a passion that she and every other women should have pension equity; a gender pensions gap isn’t an inevitability, together we can address it.
