Richard has broad experience in the pensions industry and current roles include: member of the Trust Board for United Utilities and Chair of the Investment Committee, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Scottish Teachers Pension Scheme, Board member at Bambisanani (a partnership using sport to build bridges between students in the UK and South Africa), Board member of BDAT (a multi academy trust in Bradford) and Director at Ilkley Town AFC.
He was previously Managing Director of the Teachers' Pension Scheme, a Partner at PwC, Scheme Actuary at Mercer and held an Executive role at TPT Retirement Solutions.
