I have worked in the pension and financial services industry for over 35 years and have both UK and international experience. As well as being Senior Director and Training Lead at Pensions For Purpose, I am an accredited professional pension Trustee. My Trustee appointments include schemes with FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 sponsors and with the Smart Pension Master Trust.

I have broad investment, risk management and operational experience across both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes. I have a particular interest in ESG and climate change, and hold the CFA certificate in ESG Investing as well as being a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute.

My prior experience includes senior management roles with Tesco, where I was UK and ROI Head of Pensions and Payroll Manager, professional service firms including Deloitte and KPMG and Fidelity Investments in the US.

Outside of work I am a keen runner and cyclist and can often be seen out on the hilly roads of the Yorkshire Dales enjoying the countryside. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, including coaching my son’s junior cricket team.
